Earn while you learn
If you are looking to start your career in your chosen profession or know which skills you want to develop and are not sure how to gain them then an apprenticeship at Mole Valley District Council could be for you.
What’s an apprenticeship?
It’s an in-work training programme designed to give you the skills you need to move forward with your chosen career. You would have the opportunity to gain skills through both on and off-the-job learning and development activities that will lead to a work-based qualification. While gaining valuable skills and experience you will also be paid a generous hourly rate (considerably higher rate than the national apprenticeship wage). We also offer some great staff benefits and discounts that you can enjoy while you work here.
We work with an external training provider to ensure that you are supported in the off the job elements of your learning as well as the practical on the job learning provided by your manager.
We offer a range of learning opportunities across the Council at various times throughout the year.
If you would like to know more about the scheme or apprenticeship opportunities coming up in the future please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions.
